61-Pound Cow Bass.
		Trophy Bass Fishing at Montauk starts in May, as migrating fish are coming through from their Chesapeake wintering grounds. A smaller migration from the Hudson River converges here, also. The travel pattern leading up to Cape Cod, Gulf of Maine, and Long Island Sound bring fish within the shores of Montauk and Fishers Island. Though most of our fishing is at night, on the full moon periods, larger bass are taken on the new moon periods, day and night. Our full day/night trips are eight hours, which allows for touching parts of both tides to assure consistent results.
